Wo "polacorumbero" Romanowski was born in England and was raised in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood. He started his interest in the congas back in High School, where he learned some basic congas in the Tuley H.S Steel Band. Wo performs regularly with his band "The Business", and also with many local Latin musicians.

His nickname was given to him by Cuban musician Chucho Valdez when he witnessed him playing his Congas!

Wo currently teaches "Congas & Claves" class. He teaches the basics of percussion and listening to the different beats as they apply to Latin dance.
